Beyond Comprehensible Input

Purpose

In the classroom teachers communicate meaning of the target language in so many ways, such as actions, drawings, pointing to objects and repetition. Attend this session to learn how to transfer those skills to a virtual platform and back into the classroom.

In synchronous and asynchronous learning contexts,

  • Participants will explore the possibilities for comprehensible input

  • Participants will be able to deploy 2-3 input strategies

  • Participants will learn at least 1 strategy for increasing student engagement
